Managing Director & Senior Financial Planner

David is the founding director of Elodus Financial, a specialist financial planning practice that focuses on providing individuals and small business in rural and corporate Australia with relevant, personally tailored lifestyle and financial planning advice. Having an extensive management and business background, David has an inherent understanding of the issues facing families today. David has been involved in the financial services industry since the early 1980’s, commencing his senior management career as the North Queensland Finance Manager for Elders Australia and then Rural Lending Manager for Rabobank in South East Queensland.

In 2002 David joined one of the largest financial service providers in Toowoomba to head up and develop the financial planning arm of this business. Once this was successfully achieved, he was instrumental in teaming up with three other committed professionals to develop a holistic Lifestyle and Financial Planning business – Elodus Financial.

While gaining many years of practical experience, David has also placed a great deal of emphasis on the ongoing educational requirements that are so necessary in his industry. He has a Bachelor of Business and Electronic Commerce through the highly regarded Monash University as well as an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning).

David's sole focus is to continue developing a business that ensures lifelong relationships and meets the complete lifestyle and financial requirements of his clients. Wealth creation, retirement planning, business planning, risk management and succession planning are a small component of the total perspective that his advice encompasses. He aims to make a difference in the lives and the communities within which he works.
