Case study

Without any assets away from his business and no children that were interested in taking it on, Brian and Carmel wanted to retire but didn’t know how to go about it.  We worked with them to develop a retirement plan that included selling the business, building a new house, purchasing a new car and putting aside some of the proceeds for retirement. After the house was sold and money put aside for the construction of the house, the remaining capital was contributed to Brian’s superannuation fund and rolled into allocated pensions. 

As a result of the strategies put in place, Brian and his wife now receive an income stream that allows them to travel regularly and live a very comfortable lifestyle.  The earnings on their investments are tax free and they don't pay any tax on their income streams.  They now have more money to spend and their capital is still growing.
